Do I need a computer to attend WAVA?
Yes. Each family needs access to a computer that meets the minimum system requirements to use the K12 School (OLS). You’ll also need reliable internet access so your student can fully participate in school.
What computer systems are needed to run WAVA programs?
To ensure the best experience, computers should meet the technical specifications listed here.
What computer skills are required?
Learning Coaches should have basic computer skills, since technology is an important part of the online school program.
- In elementary school, Learning Coaches do most of the computer work.
- Middle and high school students are most successful when they have basic computer skills and can work more independently.
