In just one academic year, Aris completed the 9th, 10th, and 11th grade. The gifted and talented program at WAVA has been instrumental. It not only showed him how quickly he could advance, but also provided supportive teachers who encouraged his development. The program continuously challenged him, proving to him that he could excel at the college level despite his age.

We have really enjoyed WAVA, and it has kept us focused and structured enough to maximize learning every day. The structure also allowed us to skip ahead to assessments when it was appropriate and avoid wasting time working on objectives the student already has met. This feature also kept my daughter interested in the lessons. We also added our own resources in history and language that complemented this program. My daughter has been able to consistently work above grade level, and I was assured that she was meeting state objectives and will be able to do well on any future achievement tests she may need for graduation and college entrance.

We needed a program that gave a good structure with the convenience of being home. My daughter is very smart and just needed more one-to-one time. I think we have both learned so much.

Ever since my second daughter was born, my first daughter has felt misplaced. The time we spent together in kindergarten has brought her back to me. We are now closer than ever. She has learned so much, but most importantly, how to read! I am so grateful for this program and its structure and organization, which allows me to be at home with my children but not having to reinvent the wheel. I am also grateful for the many different approaches offered so that I may customize the program for what works best for her learning style. I look forward to 1st grade!

My granddaughter has learned more in on year of WAVA than she ever learned in years of public school. The teachers are great and assist you where you need it. The special education program is amazing and listens to all needs and concerns. I am forever grateful to everyone on the team. We are continuing to choose WAVA for many years to come.

Freedom and flexibility to learn at a pace that is better for them is key. My one daughter struggles and having things to help supplement for her so she can achieve in the classroom is huge. Things like Freckle and Ameria which are two of our asynchronous programs that we use at WAVA have made it so that she feels more confident in being able to understand what’s going on in the classroom and is not feeling left behind.

WAVA has provided a space for recovery and allowed me to better care for my health with a good sleep schedule, healthy eating, and a lower-stress environment. It allows me to work at my own pace rather than at a regimented pace set by brick-and-mortar class times. I feel well prepared for college given the WAVA learning structure. It has taught me time management and organizational skills.
